Our Christmas shopping went pretty good. There were only 3 gifts i didnt get, and that isnt bad considering we had to purchase 24 gifts this year. I really wish we could all stop buying eachother gifts , its just getting to be too much! and i have a habit of buying something for one person, then trying to match either the amount or the size with the next gifts i have to buy. It drives me bonkers and i hate the constant mind games of "is this gift enough?" "well i got her, this , so i should get him that" good grief ! talk about losing the meaning of Christmas eh?
We decided to spend the night in Erie, and we had a nice dinner at Applebees, and then headed to our hotel, where our room was upgraded to a jacuzzi tub king suite since they were over booked. Thank you for the extra space for all of our stuff. The tub never did get filled, but it was pretty to look at in the corner of the room. We had a great nights sleep and then headed down for our waffles in the lobby of the hotel the next morning. One of the best treats at the hotel!
Think a day of shopping was enough? No way ! we then tortured ourselves and our poor feet a bit more and headed to the mall in Erie, a TJ Max, a Toys R us and then finally the last stop of every Erie trip ............a Krispy Kreme donut ! Now for those of you who know me, i am not a big sweet or dessert fan,but i will never, and i mean never, say no to a Krispy Kreme donut ! I alway get the same one, the plain cream filled donut. I am a girl of simple tastes. Although the last time we were in Erie, their donut of the month was Cotton Candy ! omg ! it was devine ! and i would eat another one today if someone had one to offer me! ha ha !
Well shopping done! now to wrap ! hmmmm that might wait until tomorrow.
