To interview or not to interview..........

Well I put on my big girl panties today and went on my first job interview in a long time.  I got up this morning, had  a shower. Blow dried my hair.  Put on my face.  Well at least more of a face than on a normal day.  I amped it up with some eye shadow and some eyeliner on my upper lid.  I put on my fancy outfit that I picked out two days ago, slipped on my pretty shoes, had a well balanced breakfast.......jumped in my car and hit the road to my future!

I went with the classic black skirt and white and black cute top. 

I arrived 10 minutes early.....Lombardi time people !!  As I waited in the lobby I realized that although this owner was going to be interviewing me for a job, i was also interviewing him.  In our teens and twenties all we hoped for was that we got hired and that they liked us.  But honestly I have to like them too.  I want to work in a positive , clean, friendly office. Those are important things to me now in my old age.  Haha ! But seriously I don't want to work for an awful boss , or with catty nincompoops .......I want to have a good time where I work and enjoy the people and the atmosphere. 

After half an hour of chatting.  Getting to know one another the owner told me he would contact me next week.  We left on a very good note. I feel good. I havent felt this good in a long time. And I am hopeful that I will be working in the next week or two.  Yippppeeeee!
