14 More days until the big guy in red shows up!

Are you ready? Christmas is just 2 weeks away! Every year i plan on getting ahead of the game and get all my gifts done, and guess what? this year i am behind again ! but on the plus side i only have 5 gifts left to do, and 3 of those are gift cards ! so that isnt so bad in my books.

Hubby and I did our traditional weekend away to Grove City outlets! so much fun! except i had a nasty head cold and that cut our shopping time down from 2 days to just one day! Saturday we shopped and got all of the kids in our life done, and maybe some stuff for us too! For anyone who goes there , they opened a North Face store! amazing deals! Usually on sunday we putter around the stores and mall in Erie, but i just didnt have the energy in me to do more than eat breaky. So we missed out on day two of shopping this year.

How about baking? are you doing any this year? The past couple years i have stuck to making chocolates, and when i say make chocolates, i mean melt wafers and add fun things like candy canes or roasted almonds to make bark. I think i may have almost used up my Martha Stewart skills..............its quite possible i gave too much for a few years in a row and now my Martha meter is run right down.

I am even considering buying desserts to bring to family get togethers...............dont hate me haha !
