We headed to Coudersport,PA for some camping and atv fun! I love how when we get to the site there is a whole ritual in setting up our site. And every couple is the same if you watch them. The men have certain jobs they do and the women have certain jobs they do. Amazing in 2013 we still have some gender roles. Haha !
So while hubby was out hunting and. I was gathering ......haha ! actually hubby sets up the camper stuff that I have no clue how to do , like leveling and attaching sewer hoses. Now come to think of it i am thankful for being a woman. Haha ! And I get to set up the important things like zero gravity chairs, bug lights, dinner table and cute tablecloth and cold mixed drinks to get our night started.
I think my favorite part of camping is getting the fire started to make dinner and keeping it going the rest of the night to sit around it. Every time we go camping we bring the same boring meals to cook like steaks and burgers. So this time I got creative and brought pizza fixins and pea meal bacon to roast on the fire. What a feast we had! They both turned out fabulous.
The best part of going to a new town is checking out what there is to do. This town had a fair. A true American small town fair. I was so excited. So one cool afternoon we got dressed and headed into town to the Potter County Fair. We were not disappointed other than the food, it sucked, but we saw cows and horses and ponies and pigs and rabbits. So much to see and smell. Pee ewwwww ! They even had a room of baked goods and canned goods with blue ribbons on the winners. So neat.
Well I am off to plan our next adventure.
