Be very quiet, we're job hunting!

Well I passed my course with flying colours , now I have to find a job. Who knew at my age I would be looking for a career change ( poor patient hubby ) but that is the case.  I was so tired of working straight commission, living on the road, signing paperwork at Tim hortons, waiting outside of homes for deals to be signed at 1030 at night.  

I just want a job that I go to every day, come home at a decent hour and the collect a paycheck once a week. Is that too much to ask for? 

So here I am at almost 40 searching want ads and browsing the internet job boards. There isn't much out there.  If I want to drive a transport truck there are many available.......I have a 3-4 hour window in a car before i get antsy so i don't think that will work out so well.  If i want to work construction there are plenty of trades jobs available ....hmmm I am not so good with a hammer I have to admit. There was an ad for a stripper at a club.....l am not sure thats right for me , although i do think i might have the right moves. Wink wink!  There are many jobs for telemarketers out there, but i hate being bothered at dinner time when they call me so i cant bring myself to calling other poor souls when they are eating their roasted chicken dinners.  So how do you find a good job, with good people now a days ? 

By knowing someone! That seems to be the secret.  

So I am going to the someone I know in the industry that I want to be in and see if they can't help me find a job.
