To swim or not to swim?

Well for those of you who enjoyed yesterdays blog about my big purchase of a kiddie pool, here is how it all went when my hubby came home.

I wanted to be sitting in the pool on the deck when he got here, but unfortunately i missed his last text telling me he was on his way and before I realized it he was walking up the back deck while i was sitting on the computer playing popit ( yes i still play popit and yes its a bit of a problem for me ha ha!) in the cool air conditioned house. Hubby looked at the pool, then looked at me through the glass sliding door, then back at the pool , and then raised his eyebrows to me inside. I opened the door and said "ready for a dip?"

Here is how the conversation went.
Hubby "SERIOUSLY?"
me "isnt it great?"
Hubby "seriously?"
me "yes seriously , come on get your suit and lets go sit in it"
Hubby " how much did you pay for that?"
me " not much "
Hubby "30 bucks?"
me " no only 14 bucks"
Hubby "if it was 30 bucks i would say take it back, you are lucky!"
me laughing" come on mr.thrify get your suit on and lets go sit in it"
Hubby " your nuts!"

So we ate dinner quickly, and then i rushed outside in my bathing suit and sat in the kiddie pool and hubby? well he pulled up a chair and laughed at me, then put his feet in the pool and enjoyed the cool water. It was divine ! it was wonderful! ya sure it looked funny , two grown adults sitting in one foot of water in a blow up hot pink pool, but in this heat fashion is the least of our worries! Its all about staying cool.

So anyone up for a dip today? Our pool doenst need chemicals, doesnt need a cover, doenst need a heater ..........all it needs is a few bodies to sit in it and be refreshed ! Come on over and enjoy it with me ! :)
