I met them at the boutique since we all came for different directions. I was abit late and rushed in. As I walked to the back of the store I saw this tall, stunning, glowing woman in a gorgeous dress standing on a pedestal looking perfect. Wow ! My baby sister. I had to catch my breath. The little girl who I took to swimming lessons, who I helped put worms on her fishing hook , who I drove around town.......Is all grown up and getting married.
She decided to try on a few other dresses but none lit her up like this first one. You can just tell when a woman puts on THE dress nothing else compares. So after a couple more she quickly jumped back into the first one. As a surprise I pulled out my wedding veil and bobby pinned it to her hair. It matched perfect and finished the dress off perfectly. She now has her something borrowed.
She made the right decision and bought the dress that day . She was lucky enough to be able to bring it home with her that day too! i am wondering how many times she has had it on at home so far.
There is something about weddings. They bring out that special glow in a bride. They bring out smiles. They bring out butterflies in your stomach and tears in your eyes. They bring about so much happiness. I can hardly wait the entire year that has to pass before I see my baby sister in her amazing dress strutting down the isle towards her true love and handsome groom.
